Work by Mads Arlien-Søborg
Mads Arlien-Søborg has worked as trend researcher for Pejgruppen and news editor for Bo Bedre. In 2008 Mads was assigned to Formland to create the design area, New Note. Mads frequently appears on TV2 Go' Morgen DK presenting new interior trends. He is assigned to Boligmagasinet, and is often quoted in various lifestyle magazines and newspapers. In collaboration with Henrik Høyer he created the concept "Grand Danois - Next generation Danish design" presented at Milan Design Week 2008. Together with the Ministry of Foreign affairs og the Ministry of Culture Mads organized Danish Design Love during Milan Design Week 2010. Mads is a frequent lecturer and consultant for companies in the design industry.

Working on the next New Note exhibition at Formland 20-23 august 2010. The amount of exhibitors has exploded, which leads me to think that the event will be the best ever! Looking forward to see everyone in august and enjoy four days of inspiration, trade and good times!!!

Trendeksperten er en sand energibombe og en ener, der har formået at være enormt vigtig for mange. Han er en kapacitet, som alle gerne vil lege med, og det gør, at han hører hjemme mange steder som trendekspert. Han har et godt øje for at spotte nye tendenser før alle andre, og han brænder for dansk design, som han de seneste år har promoveret på særlige stande på verdens vigtigste møbelmesse i Milano. Mads Arlien Søborg arbejde er uundværligt, og hans visioner er guld værd for møbelbranchen.

An inspirering day at Dornbracht in their Copenhagen Showroom. I gave a lecture for designers and architects about trends in bathrooms. Great to meet german designer Kurt C. Reinhardt who talked about the "Ritual Bathroom".

The "work kitchen" is gaining ground in Danish homes
The inspiration from restaurant kitchens are well underway as a serious competitor to the minimalist kitchen solutions, predicts a trend researcher. Through the years, the minimalist style set the agenda in Danish kitchen design, but the trend is perhaps about to change. According to trend researcher Mads Arlien Søborg, we begin to experience a new kitchen - the "work kitchen".

The book describes the changes that we can expect until 2012. The book addresses issues such as design and architecture, retailing and consumption and the future of food.
Twelve writers give their contribution on the times that comes. That is, among other things, Poul Erik Jakobsen CEO. in pejgruppen, Mads Arlien-Søborg, news editor and trend researcher and Jakob Søndergaard, project director in pejgruppen.
